We saw everything on the full day tour plus Sugar Loaf mountain. It was well worth having our own private guide for the day. Michael was super and highly recommended as a tour guide.

My wife and I were in Rio for 2 days and wanted to see it all. Our private tour was excellent thanks to our guide, Luis. We saw the main attractions but many others that we wouldn’t have even known about! He met us at our hotel both mornings. He was professional, polite and knowledgeable. Thanks to Luis we didn’t miss out on anything during our short trip.

Fun and informative. Our guide met us right in our hotel lobby and took us all over Rio.

Amazing tour of Old Rio. We knew we wanted to see all of the historic sights and we got just that. The Imperial Palace and Sao Bento Monastery were beautiful. Our guide was very knowledgeable and even taught us a few things we didn’t know! He also made sure we got photos of us and the sights. Overall a memorable day and well-planned tour.

  5. 4 out of 5

Santa Teresa was worth the excursion. Located on a hill with cobblestone streets, it reminded us of Montmartre in Paris. We enjoyed the cozy, village feel. The guide was timely and professional. A very good value for a day out in Rio.

We booked Marianne for a private day tour after taking the Santa Teresa tour. We couldn’t be happier with the experience. Her passion for the city really shines through. Both tours were full of energy and interesting bits of knowledge. We highly recommend either tour.

The good: private vehicle, knowledgeable guide who was extremely flexible and helped us put together an itinerary a couple of weeks before we arrived. The bad: we ended up not having time to see Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon because the ride to Corcovado took longer than expected. Overall good experience and customer service.
